About Monica
Monica Hoover is an Indianapolis-based printmaker who first learned the craft at the Indianapolis Art Center. A 2023 divisional winner at the IAC Student Show, her black & white and colorful reduction linocut prints are often inspired by nature. Whether experiencing a Super Blue Moon or capturing plant species native to the Midwest, she is particularly interested in the pairing of art and seasonal nature–keepsakes of the momentary.
